Now that we are as stuffed as the Thanksgiving turkey, it’s time to narrow our focus to something smaller, yet just as important – Small Business Saturday! Started by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday is a nationwide campaign to bring focus to small, local businesses to show support for all that they do for the community. This year, we know that small businesses in our Louisiana Bayou Country need our support more than ever as they recover from the devastating effects of Hurricane Ida and the ongoing COVID pandemic. So, whether you’re getting a jumpstart on Christmas, looking for that perfect New Year’s Eve outfit, or just want to treat yourself for making it through 2021 – remember to shop local and support Terrebonne Parish’s small businesses on Saturday, November 27, 2021!
